Tricolored bat
Perimyotis subflavus — Bats
One of the smallest bats in eastern North America, golden-brown, and now in steep decline.
Do not handle this animal with bare hands, and do not let it near a pet. It is a rabies-vector species, which changes both the procedure and who is permitted to take it.
