Silver-haired bat
Lasionycteris noctivagans — Bats
A black bat frosted with silver, a slow and graceful flier that winters in the South.
Do not handle this animal with bare hands, and do not let it near a pet. It is a rabies-vector species, which changes both the procedure and who is permitted to take it.
