Gray fox
Urocyon cinereoargenteus — Foxes, coyotes and wolves
A small native canid that can climb trees, using curved claws to escape danger or reach food above the ground.
Do not handle this animal with bare hands, and do not let it near a pet. It is a rabies-vector species, which changes both the procedure and who is permitted to take it.
